Keeping your barrels in storage
Many buyers leave barrels where they are until they are ready to bottle. Here is how storage works when you buy through Barrel Lab™.
Your two options
Your own agreementIf you already have a storage agreement with the warehouse holding the barrels, they stay under your account on your terms with that warehouse.
A Victory Spirits accountIf you don’t, barrels can stay in storage under a Victory Spirits storage account, where we have one at that warehouse.
If neither applies, the barrels move by transfer in bond to your DSP, or we can quote third-party bonded storage.
Storing under a Victory Spirits account

| Availability | Only at warehouses where Victory Spirits holds a storage account. We confirm this when we accept your purchase order. |
| Billing | Storage is billed monthly on a recurring basis for every barrel that remains in the account. |
| Payment method | A credit card or ACH payment method is required before barrels are placed in the account. We send a secure link to set it up; card and bank numbers are never collected on the purchase order form. |
| Your rate | Storage is quoted with your purchase order, along with any warehouse fees, so you see the full cost before you sign. |
How to choose storage on your order
- On the purchase order, choose Request a quote to stay in storage at the holding warehouse.
- Tell us whether you have your own agreement with that warehouse or want a Victory Spirits storage account.
- For a Victory Spirits account, accept monthly recurring storage billing. We send the secure payment-method link with your quote.
Please note: a purchase order does not hold the barrels. Only full funding confirms the sale and removes the barrels from availability to other buyers. Storage begins under your account once the sale has closed.
