How you get access
You don't need your own DSP. A partner co-packer, or a Certified Barrel Lab Reseller, receives the barrels in bond and bottles them for you. You buy the finished cases.
Barrels move in bond, so a TTB-permitted DSP must receive them. Why it takes a DSP →
Have these ready
- Target shelf price and margin
- Annual volume (barrels or cases)
- States you will sell in
- Style and age you have in mind
- Whether you want a one-time lot or repeatable batches
Who does the work
Vetted partners, matched to your project through Path Forward. Partner introductions come with Premium Access, which is $500 and credited in full to your barrel purchase.
Before you ask
Can a distributor own a brand?
In many states, yes. Some states limit what a wholesaler can own on the supplier side. We check the rules in your states with a compliance partner before you commit.
Do I need my own DSP?
No. A partner DSP receives the barrels in bond and bottles for you. You buy finished goods.
How many bottles does a barrel make?
A 53-gallon barrel typically bottles out to a couple hundred 750 ml bottles, depending on age, proof and evaporation. Each listing carries the data to estimate yield.
